Spring Hill Civic Center
The Spring Hill Civic Center operates through a partnership between the city of Spring Hill and Johnson County Human Services and Aging. The collaborative efforts of many city and county leaders, along with countless hours of volunteer time have created a Civic Center everyone can be proud of.

Hours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Examples of programs and services offered at the Civic Center:
- The Spring Hill Multi-Service Center, an outreach program of Johnson County Human Services and Aging, provides a safety net for those in need and living in the Spring Hill School District. These services include information and referral, food pantry, utility assistance, emergency assistance, clothing closet, community services management, commodity distributions, school supplies, and holiday sponsorships.
- Additional services available to residents include notary public service and voter registration. The Civic Center is a voting site for Johnson County residents of Spring Hill.
In partnership with other community agencies, access to these services is available:
- Kansas Legal Services – a representative is at the center every other month to serve residents 60 and older.
- AARP Tax Assistance – Trained volunteers help eligible patrons complete their tax returns.
- Catholic Community Services – Working cooperatively with case managers, emergency assistance is provided to local residents.
- The Neighbors' Place – Lunch is served to senior citizens 60 and older, Monday through Friday, for a voluntary contribution. Local volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels for Spring Hill residents. Call 686-5268 to reserve a lunch.
- Community Classes – in partnership with other community organizations, educational and recreational opportunities are provided for residents of all ages.
- The Spring Hill Recreation Commission holds many of its classes and activities at the Civic Center. E-mail rec@springhill- online.net.
- The Johnson County Park and Recreation District and K-State Research and Extension offer some programs and classes at the Spring Hill Civic Center.
- Special events and programs are designed and scheduled by Civic Center staff to meet the special needs of the community.
- The Spring Hill Civic Center newsletters are mailed to Spring Hill residents four times each year to promote activities and inform citizens.
- Spring Hill Community Calendar – Most Civic Center programs and events will be listed in the Spring Hill Community Calendar, courtesy of the Spring Hill School District. You may access this calendar at: www.springhillks.com.
- Civic Center and Community Center Rental – Civic Center classrooms, a reception room, and a gymnasium are available to rent for meetings, sports events, practices, and special occasions. The Spring Hill Community Center, 613 S. Race, is available to rent for receptions, reunions, meetings, and special events. Call 592-2304 for information about and scheduling of these two facilities.
