The Area Agency on Aging sponsors the Neighbors’ Place here at the Roeland Park Community Center. Here seniors in northeast Johnson County gather for lunch, friendship, and a variety of activities.

Yes, just call (913) 826-3139 by noon the day BEFORE you’d like to come.
What time is lunch served?
Lunch is served at noon but most people enjoy coming earlier for a game of cards, conversation, or to watch a little group television.

Call the center at (913) 826-3139 by noon any weekday and we’ll be happy to help.
Is there a charge?
No charge, but suggested meal donation is $2.50.

- Flexercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m.
- Senior Tea Dance on Tuesdays 1:30 p.m.
- Bingo on Fridays after lunch
- Evening potlucks, day trips, and more, planned by the participants
