Definitions

Proof of Income – Gross income for everyone living in the household. Pay checks, SSI/SSDI, TAF, child support, unemployment payments, and any other money received are counted as monthly income. Any and all income received within the past 30 days is counted. Income from all adult household members is counted. If an adult living in the household does not have any income, they will need to sign a “No Income Verification” form available from the Multi-Service Center.

Social Security cards – Proof of social security number is required for each household member. The social security card is preferred, but there are other documents that include the social security number. Pay check stubs, the first page of a federal tax return, and some driver’s licenses also can be used to verify the number.
