Anyone living in the Blue Valley School District who is hungry may receive food assistance.
How do I receive food assistance?
Call the Blue Valley Multi-Service Center, (913) 897-3991, and make an appointment to use the food pantry. Bring Social Security cards, proof of income, and proof of residency in the Blue Valley School District.
What types of food will I receive?
Non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, canned fruit, breakfast items, peanut butter, pasta, macaroni and cheese, canned meats, soup, baby food, diapers, paper products, and personal hygiene supplies. Grocery gift certificates may be available on a limited basis.
How often may I use the food pantry?
Families typically use the food pantry one time per month. Exceptions may be made for extraordinary circumstances.
How do I donate to the food pantry?
Food donations are always welcome. We are always in need of paper products, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, condiments, soup, boxed dinners, breakfast items, juice, diapers and wipes, flour, and sugar. Call the center to arrange a time for delivery.
